May all the intensity of my love go to thee, O Lord,
go right to thee.
May all the whispers of my silent aspirations
reach thine ears, O Lord,
may all reach thine ears.

Wherever my thoughts may stray,
may they answer at once to thy great call,
And may all obstacles vanish at thy pull, O Lord,
at thy great pull.

This begging bowl of my life is filled
with reluctant alms from the world.
May that be emptied of all things,
and may my heart be filled with gifts from thee,
with secret gifts from thee, O Lord.

O my friend, O dearest One,
whatever is good and noble in me,
may all resound and vibrate
with thy songs and music, O Lord,
with thy songs and music.
